According to RMC, Ronaldo is expected to return to action this week for Al Nassr in their match against Al Diriyah.

Ronaldo left the Portuguese national team training camp midway through the international break following a dispute with Portugal coach Fernando Santos. Ronaldo did not feature in Portugal's second UEFA Nations League match against Norway, despite his claims that the coach had promised him playing time.

Ronaldo warmed up for almost the entire second half but ultimately did not get on the pitch. He felt disrespected by the coach's failure to honour his promise. Ronaldo subsequently posted a lengthy message on social media explaining their disagreement and stated that he would be "ready when called upon" for the next international window. After leaving the Portuguese squad, Ronaldo immediately returned to Saudi Arabia.

It remains to be seen whether Al Nassr coach Ange Postecoglou will start Ronaldo or bring him off the bench. Ronaldo joins an attacking quartet alongside Sadio Mané, João Félix, and Kingsley Coman. The Saudi Pro League resumes this Friday, with Al Nassr facing Al Diriyah. The match kicks off at 2 AM Beijing Time on Saturday.
