Former Flying Eagles striker Suleiman Abdullahi has ended speculation about his future after agreeing terms with Union Berlin

Union Berlin have reached an agreement with Eintracht Braunschweig that will see Abdullahi move to the 2.

Bundesliga side on a season-long loan, with a buy option inserted into the agreement.

If the Nigerian impresses manager Urs Fischer at the end of the 2018-19 campaign, there's a two-year deal on the table waiting for him to sign.

Having said that, everything is pointing to the fact that Abdullahi will be acquired on a permanent basis even without kicking a ball as Union Berlin paid a 'huge amount' of money as loan fee, which they need to recoup.

Since moving to Europe in February 2015, the 20-year-old attacker has scored 23 goals (13 assists) in 89 appearances for Viking and Eintracht Braunschweig.

Two Nigerian players Chinedu Ede and Chibuike Okeke previously represented Union Berlin.
