According to reports, after reviewing the applications without a formal call for candidates, the Togolese Federation has selected Jean-Michel Cavalli, a 69-year-old French coach.

Togo seems to have found its new strongman in Jean-Michel Cavalli to succeed Nibombé Daré. He will have the important task of qualifying Togo for the next Africa Cup of Nations in 2027.

As a reminder, the Togo Hawks have been absent from this major continental event since 2017.

Former coach of Niger and Algeria, Cavalli is an expert on the realities of African soccer.
