On August 2, Lecce Football Club officially announced that the team has permanently signed French forward Willem Geubbels from Paris FC.

The announcement stated that the French forward, born in 2001, has signed a long-term contract with Lecce until June 30, 2030, with an option to extend to next season.

Geubbels, now 24, joined Paris FC from St. Gallen last year, making 27 appearances for the team, contributing 5 goals and 1 assist.
