According to Goal.com, Ajax's 17-year-old winger Abdellah Ouazzane has been called up to the Moroccan squad for the first time and could make his debut this month against Gabon.

Ouazzane previously represented several Dutch youth teams. However, last month, the Ajax winger stated that he would choose to represent Morocco in international matches.

Ouazzane had an excellent pre-season and currently often plays as a left winger under Mitchell. He has scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists so far.

However, Mitchell is still gradually introducing Ouazzane to regular first-team action. In recent Ajax matches, the winger has come on as a substitute. Ouazzane is currently preparing for Saturday's home match against Excelsior.
