According to Globo Esporte, Botafogo's new coach Tite will bring three staff members to join the team's coaching staff.

Tite's son and assistant coach Matheus Bachi will join his father. In recent years, Matheus Bachi served as assistant coach under Cléber Xavier at Santos, who was also previously a member of Tite's coaching staff. At the end of 2024, Matheus left Santos to rejoin his father at Cruzeiro.

In addition to Matheus Bachi, Tite will also work with his long-time partner, fitness coach Fábio Mahseredjian. The two met in the mid-2000s during Tite's first coaching stint at Corinthians. Matheus Bachi and Fábio also joined Tite's Brazil national team coaching staff from 2016 to 2022.

Tite will not bring two other regulars from his recent coaching staff. César Sampaio has joined Santos' permanent coaching staff, and Vinícius Bergantin, who assisted Tite at Flamengo and Cruzeiro, is currently the head coach of São Bernardo.

Tite's team will integrate with Botafogo's permanent coaching staff. Marcelo Sales will serve as assistant coach, and Ronaldo Torres will be the fitness coach. At Tite's request, Rodrygo Belang was promoted from the U20 team to the permanent coaching staff. At the press conference, Tite called Belang "a very important member during the transition period" and highlighted his focus on youth development.

Botafogo will play away against Mirassol on Saturday in the 28th round of the Brasileirão, which will also be Tite's debut as coach.
