Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Arsenal 3-0 at home. After the match, 35-year-old veteran Pascal Gross, who contributed a goal and an assist, was interviewed by the Premier League production company.

What a great victory, congratulations. How did you achieve it today?

It was a great victory. I think we showed a lot of intensity, pushed the game into their half, waited for them to make mistakes, and then capitalized on our chances to punish them.

You just mentioned the intensity of the game. Since you returned to the club and started playing under Hürzeler, has this been the team's most complete performance?

I think we played very well against a very strong team. We played well against Man United before, but today against Arsenal, our performance was truly excellent.

When you came to the stadium today, did you have that feeling? We said before the match that we felt you had a chance to win today and could cause Arsenal a lot of problems. Pascal, did you feel that yourself?

Yes, we just wanted to make it very difficult for them. At home, we wanted to play with high intensity and push the game into their half, just as I said. I think we would attack quickly after winning the ball back high up the pitch. After two consecutive wins, I think we are full of confidence now. And before the international break, we wanted to end this period with a strong performance.

From a personal perspective, I watched your game at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, and you almost controlled the situation. Then today, you scored a goal and had an excellent performance throughout the game, maintaining a high level. Do you feel you are playing the best football of your career right now?

I'm not sure if I can still do this at 35, but I am indeed playing very well right now. I'm in good form and feeling great, I have nothing to complain about. So I'm just trying to contribute wherever I can to help the team. Everything is going very well for me personally right now.

May I ask what it feels like to be back here?

I love it here. I think I saw Glenn two days ago, and I told him then that I really enjoy life in Brighton. I enjoy coming to the training ground every day and being with my teammates and staff. There are also many people here I knew before. So, yes, I'm really enjoying it here.

You've now beaten the reigning champions and are third in the league table. Can we start talking about whether you'll be in the title race this season?

No. No. I know what the reality is. After the international break, we'll start playing every three days, and many players in the team are not yet used to that rhythm.

So I hope we can handle it well. We have a large squad, and many players will be returning. I have to admit, we are still missing many important players. But I think our squad is very strong, and I hope we can remain competitive.

As you just mentioned, how important is it to find the right balance between various competitions once European competitions begin?

It will be difficult, because if you're not used to such a schedule, it will certainly be a new experience. You often see teams that aren't used to this rhythm encounter difficulties.
