Arsenal has officially announced that 17 first-team stars have been called up to their respective national teams for the extended international break, with most players set to participate in the UEFA Nations League.

European competitions will dominate the international break over the next three weeks, with most Gunners players featuring in the latest edition of the UEFA Nations League. England, having been promoted in the previous edition, returns to League A and is grouped with the Czech Republic, Croatia, and Spain.

Konsa, Saka, Eze, and Lewis-Skelly have all been called up to the Three Lions squad. In the early hours of September 27,(CEST), they will face familiar opponents Spain at Wembley Stadium, while world champions Spain have called up David Raya, Merino, and Martin Zubimendi.

Before the end of this break, England will also play an away match against Croatia and two home and away fixtures against the Czech Republic. Spain will have two clashes with Croatia and will host the Czech Republic in Oviedo.

This Nations League campaign will feature several direct clashes between Arsenal teammates. Timber returns to the Netherlands squad after missing the World Cup and will face Havertz's Germany and Tsolis's Greece in the first two national team matches. Greece was promoted to the top league in the previous edition. These three Arsenal stars in the same group will also play against Serbia.

Norway captain Ødegaard is also in League A, grouped with Portugal, Denmark, and Wales. Calafiori's Italy will face Belgium, Turkey, and France. Gyökeres will play for Sweden in League B, with opponents including Romania, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Outside of the Nations League, Brazilian players Gabriel Magalhães and Guimarães will undertake the longest journey, traveling to Townsville and Brisbane in Australia for two matches against the Australian team. Their final stop during this international break will be Kolkata, where Brazil will play India for the first time.

Finally, two academy prospects have received senior national team call-ups. Summer signing James Scanlon will represent Gibraltar, with opponents including Sao Tome and Principe, Liechtenstein, and Andorra.

Ceadach O’Neill has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad, who are in League B of the Nations League. The winger, who already has two senior caps, will face Hungary, Ukraine, and Georgia.
