Bergomi praised Pio Esposito on Sky Sport Italia after Esposito scored a goal and provided an assist in Italy's 4-1 away victory against Turkey.

Speaking about Pio's role on the field, Bergomi said: "In the box, he needs to make his presence felt. Outside the box, when he's further away, he needs to protect the ball and control it well, creating rhythm for his teammates to push forward, and he does all of this very well."

Beyond his performance, technical, and tactical contributions, Bergomi specifically highlighted Pio's attitude: "In my opinion, he's a very serious player, clear-headed and hardworking. Even when he's not in top form, he always delivers. Against Turkey, he played very well."
