According to Record, Bruno Fernandes will captain Portugal in the match against Denmark, after the official UEFA website mistakenly listed Rúben Dias as captain due to a technical error.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal's training camp on Wednesday and will miss the match. Bruno Fernandes, who plays for Manchester United, has earned 95 caps for Portugal and is the most experienced outfield player in the starting lineup. Bernardo Silva, with 114 caps, will be on the bench for this match.

Earlier reports had suggested that Rúben Dias would be captain, but this information stemmed from a technical error on the official UEFA website, which incorrectly designated the centre-back as captain. Record subsequently obtained the official team sheet for the match, confirming that Bruno Fernandes will wear the captain's armband.
