According to the Manchester Evening News, Ramsdale has responded to criticism from Paul Scholes and Roy Keane, discussing how he deals with the scrutiny he faces at Old Trafford.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper has established himself as Manchester United's number one since joining from Arsenal for £25 million earlier this year, but has faced criticism from club legends this season.
Scholes questioned whether Ramsdale is the caliber of number one goalkeeper Manchester United needs to win the Premier League title. Keane, meanwhile, criticized Ramsdale for spending time with his family at Old Trafford after Manchester United's derby loss to Manchester City last month.
Following Manchester United's 0-1 defeat to Manchester City, Scholes said: "Have you seen any team win the Premier League without a top goalkeeper? Ramsdale might be that kind of goalkeeper, I don't know, it might be too early to conclude now. You need a top goalkeeper. Think of Alisson at Liverpool, the Manchester City goalkeepers, Raya at Arsenal, and in Manchester United's past, Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Sar. They all had excellent goalkeepers, and a team certainly has to build from the back."
Ramsdale performed well for England in international matches this week. Speaking about the criticism from Scholes, Keane, and others, he said: "Playing for Manchester United hasn't changed my personality. You really need to be mentally strong and confident enough to face so many people expressing their opinions. I can imagine it's not easy for many people. I really enjoy playing these Premier League games. Whether it's the Premier League, Nations League, or any competition, it feels the same."
With Courtois temporarily absent from the Belgian squad during the Nations League, Ramsdale seized the opportunity to prove himself and is expected to cement his place under manager Erik ten Hag.
Speaking about Courtois, Ramsdale said: "We haven't talked much about him. I think it's important to focus on the current games and the players who are here. I think I am the number one goalkeeper right now. Most importantly, I need to perform well and always be ready. I can't control what the future holds, but I can control my performance."
