According to Mundo Deportivo, Portugal's national team social media accounts lost approximately 2 million followers following Ronaldo's departure.

Portugal won the match without Ronaldo, but his absence and the surrounding controversy have impacted the national team.

The media outlet confirmed that after Ronaldo left the training camp and severed ties with the team, the number of followers on Portugal's social media accounts dropped significantly.

The account currently has 22.8 million followers, down from the previous 24.942 million.

Perhaps for this reason, both sides are working to repair the relationship.

Ronaldo's fanbase has always been highly active, and in recent days they have even targeted the social media account of Gonçalo Ramos's wife.
