According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Bayern has compiled a list of 7 to 8 potential backup goalkeepers for Jonas Urbig next season, with Oliver Baumann included.

Bayern has identified 7 to 8 candidates as potential backups for Jonas Urbig next season. The current expectation is that Manuel Neuer will retire and Urbig will become the club's new number one goalkeeper. Negotiations with candidates have not yet begun.

One thing is clear: Bayern wants an experienced goalkeeper, not a young, highly talented, and expensive prospect. Oliver Baumann is one of the candidates and has been on Bayern's radar for months. The club highly values his career trajectory and professionalism.
