According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, former Italy national team captain Cannavaro stated that Internazionale currently leads all teams, and that Roma and Como could threaten their title aspirations.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cannavaro discussed Serie A and the title race. He said: "Internazionale leads all teams. They are an armored ship. When Chivu comes on as a substitute, you think: wow, this player could be a starter on any team, but he's coming off the bench here. They have already won the title, but they are not satisfied and have further strengthened their squad. In my opinion, they are still ahead."

Cannavaro stated: "Who can threaten Internazionale? First, Roma and Como, because they have both technical strength and strong mentality. However, it's only the sixth round of the league, and that needs to be remembered. I don't want this detail to be overlooked. Both Roma and Como play attractive football, with different styles, but both will compete through exciting matches."

Speaking about Roma, he said: "Gasperini is excellent, and so is his Roma. The team quality is high, aggressive in both attack and defense, always man-marking, suffocating opponents and giving them no time to think."

Regarding Como, Cannavaro said: "Fàbregas's Como is perhaps the most modern team in terms of temperament. They can no longer be seen as a dark horse; they have invested a lot of money and have done so competently and with foresight. Como will be a protagonist."
