After Newcastle United's 4-1 away defeat to Coventry City, midfielder Joelinton spoke to the media.

On the defeat to Coventry City

"I feel sorry for the fans. We share their disappointment."

"We don't want to lose. It's tough for them, and it's tough for us, but we're in this together. I know they'll be there on Saturday supporting us at home. Please be patient with everyone."

"Every player is doing their best to win. We don't want to lose, but it happens. Now it's time to put our heads down and work hard."

On the dressing room atmosphere

"Yes, it's not easy. The lads are frustrated."

"It was a difficult night for us, a difficult game. As you said, it was a heavy defeat, but now we have to move on. We need to look at what we can improve."

"Every player wants to be better in the next game, but there's no time to cry or be upset. We need to reflect on the game, see where we need to improve, what we did well, and then move forward."
