This is the shocking moment a footballer in Tunisia lost his rag after a ball boy sensationally launched his boot into the crowd.

With the scores level in the 73rd minute, the boot of Bizertin's Mohamed Yeken had come off as he was standing on the sidelines.

The ball boy saw an opportune moment and showed no hesitation in picking it up and throwing it far out of sight.

But his action didn't go unnoticed of Yeken who reacted by marching over to him and appeared to kick the ball boy over.

The referee had no sympathy for the player despite having his boot thrown in the crowd and showed him a straight red card.

It then sparked a brawl on the field with players and staff from both sides rushing on to the field as tempers threatened to boil over.

The ball boy was then looked at by medical staff while his mates ran around him to get the lowdown on what happened.

To make matters worse for the visitors, the ten men couldn't hold out for a draw and conceded seven minutes later in a 2-1 defeat.

Reports in Nemzetisport claim that the player is now likely to face a lengthy ban.
