Chelsea's search for a new goalkeeper has been given a boost as Ter Stegen is stalling over a new contract offer at Barcelona, according to Football London.

The Catalans have tabled a new deal believed to be worth around £6million a year for the German shot-stopper but Spanish publication Sport report that he is not willing to commit to the offer yet.

With Kepa failing to nail down the starting role at Stamford Bridge, the Blues are still on the lookout for a new keeper and they will be watching Ter Stegen's situation very closely.
