Former Manchester United star Andrei Kanchelskis has urged Arsen Zakharyan to fight for his move to Chelsea.

The Dynamo Moscow winger saw an August move collapse due to financial sanctions against Russia.

There has been hope of the deal being revived this month.

And Kanchelskis told RB Sport: “I don't know if Zakharyan will go to Chelsea in this transfer window, but it's necessary to run there, at a fast pace.

"Gather all things and run, like in the movie 'Forrest Gump'.

"Dynamo is a good club, but how can it be compared to Chelsea? This is a great team, so Zakharyan should definitely go there."
