Power Dynamos are in great form in the Zambian Premier League as they get ready to face Nigeria’s Rivers United in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League Group Stage.

After 17 league games, Power Dynamos are top of the table with 35 points. They are four points ahead of Red Arrows, who are in second place but have played two games less.

The Kitwe side will take on their continental assignment after winning their last three league matches, having started the year with a 2–0 win over Mutondo Stars at Arthur Davies Stadium on January 10. Four days later, they beat Green Eagles 1–0. Their latest victory was on January 18, when they defeated Mufulira Wanderers 1–0 at Shinde Stadium.

These results have given the team a big confidence boost ahead of the Rivers United match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium

However, in the CAF Champions League, Power Dynamos are still looking for their first win in the group stage after losing their first two matches.
