Inter vice-president Zanetti described Lautaro as the captain and core of the team when speaking about Argentina and Inter.

Zanetti also praised Nico Paz, who was once linked with Inter and now plays for Como. He said the player was able to play in Italy at a very young age, which gave him the opportunity to be selected for the Argentine national team, and that he deserved to take part in this FIFA World Cup with the team.
