In an interview with Portuguese media outlet Sport TV, Ronaldo discussed the Portuguese national team's UEFA Nations League goals, the playing style under Jorge Jesus, and his own future. He stated that he continues to prove through his performances that he deserves to remain in the national team.

When asked about his expectations for the UEFA Nations League, Ronaldo said: "Our expectations are always the same—to win. We have a new coach and a different atmosphere... I also want to take this opportunity to mention Martinez, who gave everything for the Portuguese national team. But now it's Jorge Jesus' turn, and I believe everything will go well. We are confident about making a good start tomorrow."

Regarding whether the team will play more offensively, Ronaldo stated: "The important thing is to win. I have worked with Jorge Jesus before and know the team will play more offensively, but the important thing is still to win."

When asked if this would be his last year, Ronaldo replied: "I don't look too far ahead; I only think about the present. I'm still here, and the Football Association is counting on me... Will this be my last year? Maybe. We'll see. It also depends on my physical condition. I really don't know. I'm speaking from the heart."

As for whether he feels like it's his first year, Ronaldo said: "Yes, and I continue to prove that I belong here. Every day I have to perform to prove myself. I have shown at both club and national team level that I can still score goals. We need all the players to strive for a good start."
