The English player reportedly has no intention of leaving Real Madrid, so this extension is not expected to encounter significant obstacles.

Real Madrid also hopes to extend Güler's contract, which expires in 2029. The club wants to acknowledge his significant progress and growing importance to the team by offering him a commensurate salary increase through this extension.

For players over 30, the club will continue its policy of one-year extensions. This applies to Courtois and Rudiger, whose contracts expire in 2027. Real Madrid has already approached Courtois about extending his deal for another year before the end of the season. Regarding Rudiger, the club and player will decide after the season concludes. Currently, both parties are interested in continuing their partnership.
