According to Foot Mercato, Camavinga addressed his recent poor form and discussed the coaching differences between Deschamps and new head coach Zidane during a French national team pre-match press conference.

Camavinga stated: "Off the pitch, not much has changed. Deschamps and Zidane have different characteristics, so there are still some adjustments on the pitch. As I said, the two coaches have different styles. Now the coach wants us to press more and control possession more; this is his Spanish style."
