Several remarks from Internazionale legend and former goalkeeper Walter Zenga also addressed the incident that took place last night. Zenga shared a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport on his social media about the defacement of the Baresi mural, writing: "Franco Baresi was my opponent, national teammate, captain, and most importantly, a man who brought dignity to Italian football. Defacing his image is not just an offense to Milan or their fans; it's an offense to the history of our football, and to everyone who still understands the meaning of 'respect.' Whoever did this represents no fan group, only themselves and their vileness. Jerseys divide us into factions, but respect should unite us. Always. Franco deserves respect."
