Bayern Munich released an exclusive interview with Kane, in which he discussed the Ballon d'Or ceremony taking place in his hometown of London, Bayern's upcoming clash with Arsenal, and the team's first experience playing on an artificial pitch in Stavanger.

Kane Interview
Reporter: Harry, the Ballon d'Or will be awarded in October. Your teammates and Bayern's management have publicly expressed their support for you. What do you think about that?
Kane: "It makes me very proud. I deeply value the support from my teammates and the club. We've been working very hard together, and I'm doing my best to contribute to the team. Their support makes me very happy, and I can only thank them."
Reporter: The awards ceremony will be held in London for the first time. What would it mean to you to win the Ballon d'Or in your hometown and become the first English player to win it since Michael Owen in 2001?
Kane: "The Ballon d'Or ceremony being held in London is, of course, very special for me. I'm from London and lived there for a long time – perhaps that's a good omen. No English player has won the Ballon d'Or in over 20 years, even though we've had many great English players during that time. Winning the Ballon d'Or would be a huge achievement for me. But for now, I'm focused on continuing to work hard and maintaining my performance this season."

Reporter: You briefly played for Arsenal in your youth and then played for their arch-rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, for many years. Because of this, is Arsenal still a special opponent for you today?
Kane: "I don't know. The media will play up this story before the game, but for me personally, it's not that important. Arsenal is a very strong team, and I've had many important matches against them over the years. Of course, playing against Arsenal now for Bayern feels different from when I was at Tottenham. It's impossible to completely disregard past experiences. However, I've also played against Arsenal many times for Bayern now. For me, the most important thing is to do my job and win the game."
Reporter: In October, you'll be playing in Stavanger, which will be a new experience for you. Do you remember all the countries, cities, and stadiums you've played in? Do you collect souvenirs from special matches?
Kane: "I don't keep systematic records, but I have a deep impression of those teams and places. Regarding jerseys, I mainly keep the ones from milestone matches. I've rarely exchanged jerseys with others in my career, with only two exceptions: once with Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid and another with Wayne Rooney from Manchester United. However, for me, the experiences are more important than the jerseys."
Reporter: The match in Stavanger will be played on an artificial pitch. How will you prepare for it? What adjustments need to be made?
Kane: "Our playing style won't change. The last time I played on an artificial pitch was in 2017 with England against Lithuania. You need a bit of time to adapt to this surface; it puts a little more strain on the knees and ankles. However, as long as you wear the right boots, there shouldn't be any major problems. It's good that we're going there in autumn and not winter, otherwise the difference between the two surfaces would be even more noticeable."
