According to UEFA official information, Rafael Leão will wear the No.7 jersey for Portugal versus Denmark, with Cristiano Ronaldo not included in the squad.

As reported by Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, UEFA Nations League regulations stipulate that all players named to a match‑day squad must be assigned jersey numbers ranging from 1 to 23. Per the UEFA match‑day player list, which is always released on the morning of matchday, Leão will take the iconic No.7 shirt.

The Portuguese winger had worn No.17 across the team’s previous two fixtures, but he will step into Ronaldo’s famous number for the clash against Denmark.

Portugal have named a full complement of 23 players for this Denmark encounter, meaning every available squad number has been allocated. Leão switches to No.7, while newly‑called‑up Fábio Silva inherits the No.17 jersey.
