According to TMW, Juventus CEO Gianluca Carnevali discussed the club's transfer plans and whether key players need to be sold this summer at the Trento Sports Festival.

Speaking about the future transfer market, Carnevali stated: "We have a sports department made up of Massara, Ottolini, and myself. Now we will also be adjusting our scouting system, but first, we need to observe players in person, sometimes multiple times. When possible, we also need to get to know the player personally, have dinner with them, to understand them better. These things matter in the dressing room. After that, we need to communicate with the head coach—in my case, Spalletti. I've never liked it when one person chooses one player and another person chooses someone else; decisions should be made collectively."

When asked whether more Italian players are needed, Carnevali said: "We're very aware that the international market is vast. Certain regulations can sometimes work in your favor. I think it's not easy to find exceptional Italian players right now because we are Juventus, and Juventus needs exceptional players, but our desire is to bring them in. I also hope to recruit young talent, so we want to bring in promising young players."

Regarding whether important players might leave this summer, Carnevali commented: "We want a competitive team, and we also know there are certain financial constraints we must respect. Let's see how the market develops. We have several players on loan with buy options attached. That might be enough for now. Currently, we're focused on achieving results."
