At 2:30 AM Beijing Time (CET) on October 10, Borussia Dortmund will host Werder Bremen in a Bundesliga Matchday 5 fixture.

Borussia Dortmund has won all four of their Bundesliga matches so far, topping the league table. Statistics show that the last time the Black and Yellows achieved a five-match winning streak to start a Bundesliga season was in the 2015-16 season under then-head coach Thomas Tuchel. In fact, Borussia Dortmund has only achieved a perfect five-match start to a Bundesliga season twice in their history, with the other instance being in the 2013-14 season under Jürgen Klopp.

Borussia Dortmund has a strong record against Werder Bremen, remaining undefeated in their last seven encounters with 5 wins and 2 draws.
