In the second round of the 2026/27 Champions League group stage, 22-year-old German striker Tresoldi made his mark with a hat-trick in an away match against Inter, helping Club Brugge secure three points.

According to statistics, Tresoldi is only the second player in Champions League history to score a hat-trick in an away game against Inter.

The first was Bale, who in the 2010/11 Champions League group stage scored a hat-trick in the second half after Inter had led Tottenham 4-0 at halftime, making the final score 4-3.
