Abia Warriors midfielder, Shedrack Asiegbu insists that his goal against Plateau United was not a fluke.
Asiegbu sent the fans at the Umuahia Township Stadium into wild celebration, as he controlled the ball with his chest and fired a thunderous like shot past Dele Ajiboye from 20-yard.
The midfielder completed his brace from the spot to seal a 2-1 victory for the Uchendu Warriors.
"I am glad we won, that's the most important in a match and that goal wasn't a fluke because I had imagination of me scoring goals before the match," Asiegbu told Goal.
" I wasn't surprised that I scored twice against Plateau United, you know why I said that?
"I had wild imaginations before the match of how excellent I played and scored goals. I was down crying in my room because my dad was late and I did promise to console myself by getting goals
"Plateau United were a worthy opponent. Their intent was obvious and we just have to dig deep to bring win 2-1."
Abia Warriors have garnered 35 points from 25 matches and sit 12th on the league table.
