Of the 26 players selected, 16 are over 30 years old; in-form players were left out, and young talents weren’t included either. This squad is the weakest Iran has ever fielded for a World Cup—incapable of showcasing Iran’s true strength. We’ll have to see how things unfold during the tournament; hopefully, reaching the Round of 16 remains achievable.

This Iranian squad hasn’t changed much—how have they managed such strong results in Asia?

The logic is flawed—being in good form has nothing to do with going into battle.

Securing victory over Egypt is a crucial match for advancing from the group stage.

Iran still has a chance to advance from the group stage, but they certainly won’t get past the Round of 32.

It’s said that due to visa issues, they can only stay in Mexico and commute daily to the U.S. for matches—unclear whether this is true.

As for positioning, my favorite is Azmoun—he’s both handsome and an excellent player.

I hope they will be thoroughly check before entering the US, because those guys can sacrifice themselves just to destroy millions of people. They are very, very wicked sets of people in the world.

I hope they don't get to play the USA, there would literally be a war on the pitch.
