According to Footy Headlines, Egyptian player Mostafa Zico's shirt number peeled off during a match.

During Egypt's FIFA World Cup match against New Zealand, striker Zico was seen wearing a damaged shirt, with part of the number on the front having peeled off.

He was originally wearing shirt number 11, but after one of the "1"s peeled off during the game, it appeared he was wearing number 1. The heat-pressed number gradually deteriorated due to sweat, exposing poor application.

The incident occurred when Zico was celebrating a goal—one of the digits on his number 11 shirt peeled away, leaving only a single "1" visible.
