According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United currently has six injured players, with Luke Shaw being the only one expected to be fit for the match against Fulham.

Manchester United had six players unavailable due to injury in their home League Cup defeat to Brighton on Wednesday. Lisandro Martinez and Patrick Dorgu were also not included in the matchday squad.
Amad Diallo Traore, Carlos Baleba, Manuel Ugarte, Matthijs de Ligt, and Tom Heaton have not played so far this season. Including Shaw, Manchester United currently has a total of seven injured players.
Amad Diallo Traore sustained a minor injury in the final days of pre-season training and has not yet recovered. The Ivorian international participated in Manchester United's last four warm-up matches this summer but has missed the team's first six official games.
When asked about Amad Diallo Traore at Tuesday's pre-match press conference, Carrick said: "Amad is not quite there on a day-to-day basis, but we will see how this week progresses."
Amad Diallo Traore did not play against Brighton, so it remains to be seen whether the winger can make it for Fulham's away match against Manchester United five days after Carrick's statement. If he cannot play, he will likely have to wait until after the international break to return.
Baleba, who joined this summer, suffered an ankle ligament injury in pre-season and has not played so far this season. However, the midfielder has recently accelerated his recovery and is close to returning.
Carrick spoke about the player before the cup match against Baleba's former club: "He will be back with the team at some point in the next week or so."
He added: "This means that after the international break, he should return in good shape. Carlos came here with an injury, and he has been eager to get back on the pitch and train normally with his teammates."
Shaw started the first three Premier League matches this season but has been out for a week due to a thigh injury. He appeared at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, and Carrick had previously stated that he might make it for that League Cup match.
Carrick said: "He might make it for the Brighton game, but it's too early to say. But it's just a matter of days, nothing more."
According to this timeline, Shaw should be able to make it for the match against Fulham. This also means that, after getting some rest, Berge might once again miss out on the starting lineup.
De Ligt last played for Manchester United in late November last year, which was 10 and a half months ago, when he was out with a back injury. After undergoing surgery, the defender resumed training with his teammates approximately five and a half weeks ago.
However, Carrick remains cautious about de Ligt's return date. He said: "Matthijs is just slowly getting back into shape at the moment, and given the timeframe and his recovery process, I'm reluctant to give a specific timetable."
De Ligt is expected to return after the upcoming international break. There is still a month until the next international break.
Ugarte remains Manchester United's only long-term injury concern. The Uruguayan international suffered a knee ligament injury during pre-season this summer and has been recovering at Carrington after undergoing surgery, working with the club's medical and fitness teams.
Manchester United's most recent update stated that although the surgery was successful, Ugarte "still has a long way to go to make a full recovery" and is currently "steadily recovering." However, he is almost certainly unable to play again before the end of 2024.
Ugarte underwent surgery in mid-July and still has a chance to return before the end of this season, depending on his recovery progress.
Heaton was substituted in Manchester United's pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain due to a hamstring injury and is still recovering. If physically fit, he would likely have been on the bench for the match against Brighton.
Consequently, Lammens was on the bench, and Darlow made his Manchester United debut. Dermot Mee was also included in the Champions League squad against Saba last week, while Heaton was absent.
However, Heaton has been included in Manchester United's European squad and also in the Premier League squad submitted by the club, which are the most recent updates on his recovery status.
