Spain played an away match against England in the UEFA Nations League. After Yamal scored an early goal, Ferran Torres had two consecutive one-on-one chances in the first half but failed to extend Spain's lead.

In the 16th minute, Ferran Torres hesitated slightly when facing goalkeeper, and his shot was blocked by the keeper's outstretched leg.

In the 28th minute, Rodri's pass put him through on goal again; this time he had time to adjust, but he shot wide. Ferran Torres failed to capitalize on either of his two direct chances against the goalkeeper.

He had also scored with a volley in the 9th minute, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
