Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Bologna has reached an agreement to sign Matteo Darmian as a free agent.

Romano confirmed the deal with a "here we go!" announcement. The Italian full-back signed a one-year contract with Bologna after departing Inter as a free agent in June.

Bologna defender Emil Holm previously suffered a tendon injury during Sweden's Euro 2024 qualifier against Romania and is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 months following surgery.
