According to Goal, Fred recalled his experience playing alongside Ronaldo at Manchester United on the podcast "Charla," saying that Ronaldo was extremely dedicated in training and had very high standards.

Ronaldo and Fred were teammates during Ronaldo's second stint at Manchester United. Fred witnessed firsthand the Portuguese star's habits, high standards, and unique approach to the game.

During that time, Fred experienced Ronaldo's discipline and personality. Now, the Brazilian midfielder reflects on those moments and shares details that impressed him during their time together.

Fred particularly praised Ronaldo's character and his meticulous approach to daily life. He said: "He's a very good person, but extremely demanding. You can't argue with him: everything has to be his way."

The midfielder also praised Ronaldo's professionalism and his impact on teammates. According to DAZN, Fred stated: "He's very professional. Whenever he joins a club, people's perception changes because they see him training hard. His mental strength is also extremely powerful."

What impressed Fred most was Ronaldo's dedication to training. He said: "I usually arrive an hour and a half early, and I'd see him already in the gym. When I leave, he's still there. I'd think to myself: 'My God, this guy is really on another level.' He's a phenomenon in every way, extremely professional."

Fred also recalled a small anecdote that shows Ronaldo's almost obsessive standards and attention to daily details: "He would bring his own water, saying it was from the Himalayas. When he wasn't allowed to bring liquids into the facility, he got very angry. In the end, he had to throw the bottle away."

Beyond these anecdotes, Fred also said that his admiration for Ronaldo extends beyond just his professionalism. The Brazilian player still believes Ronaldo is the type of player who can change a match.

Fred concluded: "He's a monster when he plays. Age will catch up with him, whether you want to admit it or not, but he has extraordinary talent. The moment he gets the ball and can shoot, he never hesitates for a second. He's an outstanding player, a real phenomenon."

Fred's comments come amid recent controversy surrounding Ronaldo. Previously, Ronaldo had a disagreement with head coach Jorge Jesus after coming on as a substitute in Portugal's 2-1 victory over Norway in the UEFA Nations League, and subsequently left the Portuguese national team training camp.
