According to Inter News, Internazionale's Curva Nord stated that the club rejected three banners dedicated to the centenary of San Siro.

They wrote that this year marks the centenary of their home stadium. For a hundred years, it has witnessed football, European nights, victories and defeats, and holds countless memories for Internazionale fans. San Siro has long been more than just a venue for Internazionale matches; it is part of the soul of Milan and the lives of millions of Internazionale supporters.

For many fans, it represents the tight grip of a father's hand when first walking into the stands, the football stories told by a grandfather, singing chants loudly for the first time, watching a derby for the first time, and the first tears of joy shed there. It is also the winter fog, the biting cold, and the heart beating wildly before kick-off. To commemorate this historic moment, the Curva Nord prepared a special tifo display for the stadium, hoping to honor the emotions and memories the stadium has provided over the years.

The Curva Nord stated that they also applied to display three simple banners dedicated to San Siro and its legacy. These commemorative messages were not political, nor did they express any particular stance; they merely sought to celebrate this symbol of faith. Internazionale informed them that these banners could not be displayed in the Curva Nord. The club provided no official reason, leaving fans to speculate about the decision. The Curva Nord questioned why three messages dedicated to this sacred ground could not be displayed in the stands during its centenary year.

The Curva Nord stated that every Internazionale fan deserves an answer. They cannot understand why a club that often emphasizes brotherhood, inclusion, and belonging would prevent some fans from expressing their love for the Nerazzurri's historical symbol through these messages. The Curva Nord also stated that the content of the relevant banners would be listed at the end of the statement for everyone to read and judge.
