AC Milan legend Alessandro Costacurta discussed AC Milan's shift to a four-man defense in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.

In Serie A's sixth round, AC Milan will play away against Sassuolo. Sky Sport Italia predicts AC Milan will maintain the four-man defense from the previous round, using a 4-4-1-1 formation, with Pulisic playing as an attacking midfielder behind Gonçalo Ramos. Veteran player Luka Modrić will be the substitute.

Costacurta said, "I think in the Portuguese national team, Ramos has a player with characteristics similar to Pulisic playing behind him, and they play very well together. Amorim may have been inspired by this. I like this player arrangement, Amorim wants Pulisic to do the same job that Félix does for the Portuguese national team."

Costacurta continued, "Regarding Modrić, he has already played frequently for the Croatian national team, so I think this is normal rotation. Moreira will likely perform well in this position. I've already seen Baldassaghi play for the Italian U21 national team, and I think he is stronger than Estupiñán."
