Emmanuel Fabiyi could be on the move from Gombe United and discloses two south-west clubs are in talks for his signature.
Fabiyi was attacked by supporters after the Savannah Scorpions drew 3-3 against Enugu Rangers at home before the restart of the league. And has since left Gombe due to security reasons.
The Benin international was also investigated for match-fixing, but he was cleared of any wrongdoing by the League Management Company.
“I’ve been doing personal training to stay fit since that incident in Gombe happened,” Fabiyi told Goal.
“I had injury cut on my head after Gombe United fans attacked me and it took a while for the injury to heal. I am fit and I have moved on past that event.
“It’s true that a move could happen anytime from now but since discussions are still going on it won’t be professional to just mention names but two clubs in the South-West have shown interest but I think it should be sorted out this weekend.
“I will be so glad if this move pulls through as my top priority is to be active where ever I find myself."
