Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfield general and Ghana Premier League Best Player, Ibrahim Salifu, has officially ended his association with Kosovo giants FC Drita, bringing to a close a significant chapter in his career abroad.

Salifu, whose rise in Ghanaian football was defined by authority in midfield, intelligence on the ball and leadership beyond his years, earned his reputation at Hearts of Oak where he was the heartbeat of the team. His domestic excellence was crowned with the Ghana Premier League Best Player award, a recognition that paved the way for his move to Europe and heightened expectations around his international future.

He received a surprise call up to the Benin national team during their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations, a moment that underlined the esteem in which his abilities were held.
