Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona director Deco has confirmed young talent Xavi Espart has agreed to a new contract with Barcelona, extending until June 2030. Romano sealed the deal with his signature "Here we go!" phrase.

Romano stated that the talented full-back will receive a salary increase alongside the longer contract. Deco confirmed that the club will soon officially announce the extension.

Barcelona has already reached a verbal agreement with Xavi Espart, and following Rafa Peña and Bernal, he is also set to sign a new contract with the club, with the official signing expected imminently.
