According to an official announcement from the Nigerian national team, striker Victor Osimhen will miss the upcoming two 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau as he continues to recover from a muscle strain.

Nigeria's official statement reads: "Victor Osimhen will miss Nigeria's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau as he continues to recover from a muscle strain. We wish Victor a speedy recovery."

So far this season, Victor Osimhen has made 4 appearances for Galatasaray across all competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.
