Speaking about his situation in comments reported by Danish media, the Danish defender said: "I'm a bit surprised. Last season, I was the captain in many games."

Despite expressing surprise, Andersen did not escalate the situation or directly criticize the head coach. He stated that he understands the coaching staff's desire to make adjustments after the team's poor start to the season.

"We lost our first three games, and I was suspended for the first one. After that, the coach felt we needed to make some changes. But there's nothing more I can say about it."

"There's not much I can do either. I feel like I've been playing well. Sometimes coaches want to try different things, and that's just how it works."
