Manchester Evening News reports that Manchester United have suffered another injury blow, as Patrick Dorgu is expected to withdraw from the Denmark national team. Manchester United are currently in a lengthy international break, with some time before their return to the Premier League.

Dorgu started in Denmark's Nations League match against Wales on Sunday evening but was substituted after just 30 minutes.

The Manchester United wing-back was seen clutching his left thigh and receiving treatment on the ground before being replaced by the coach.

The substitution sparked concerns about Dorgu's injury, and the Manchester United defender is expected to leave the Denmark national team.

Riemer stated that a replacement for Dorgu must now be found. According to Danish media TV2, Dorgu is expected to return to Manchester United for further examination and will not participate in Denmark's remaining two matches during this international break.

"I have never experienced a situation like this. I have to say, never. Today another player got injured — and a very good one too," said Riemer.

"I counted that even before today, seven or eight regular players from the 23-man squad were not with us. They either went home or didn't come at all.

"And now Dorgu got injured today. Honestly, it's really frustrating."

Reimer added: "I have to call up another winger. It's not hard to find a player who can play as a winger, full-back, or other positions, but it's even harder to find someone who can cover multiple positions."
