According to Record, Bruno Fernandes will captain Portugal against Denmark. This follows a previous error on UEFA's official website that incorrectly listed Ruben Dias as captain due to a technical glitch.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal's training camp on Wednesday and will miss the match. Bruno Fernandes, who plays for Manchester United, has earned 95 caps for Portugal, making him the most-capped player among the starting lineup for this match. Bernardo Silva, who has 114 caps for Portugal, will be on the bench.

Earlier reports stated that Ruben Dias would be captain, but this information stemmed from a technical error on UEFA's official website, which incorrectly designated the center-back as captain. Record subsequently obtained the official squad list for the match, confirming that Bruno Fernandes will wear the captain's armband.
