According to Sky Germany, Dortmund has contacted the Greek Football Federation, hoping that Kareteskas will be rested for Sunday's match against Germany.

Kareteskas started all three of Greece's Nations League matches, with the 18-year-old even playing the full 90 minutes in the victory over Germany. However, Dortmund hopes the attacking player will be rested for Sunday's return leg against Germany.
Sky Germany reports that Dortmund's management has contacted the Greek Football Federation, requesting a cautious and forward-looking approach regarding Kareteskas's usage. Just five days after the international break concludes, Dortmund will host Werder Bremen on Friday evening, and the recently recovered Kareteskas has endured a heavy workload in recent weeks.
Dortmund understands Kareteskas's importance to the Greek national team but is also considering its own interests. It is currently unclear how Greece coach Ivan Jovanovic will manage Kareteskas, with Greek media widely expecting the youngster to start again.
