Fiorentina striker Beto spoke to Sky Sport about his evolution since returning to Serie A, the team's current trajectory, and his personal scoring ambitions. The 26-year-old emphasized that he has matured since his first stint at Udinese and stressed that Fiorentina must establish itself among Italy's elite clubs.

Beto joined Fiorentina from Everton this summer, taking the spot vacated by Moise Kean's move to Como. Back in Serie A after his time at Udinese, Beto has yet to find the net in a Fiorentina shirt this season.
On settling in, Beto said: "I really like the Viola Park training base; I'm very happy here."
Reflecting on his development since his Udinese days, he explained: "I've changed. When I played for Udinese, I wasn't as experienced. Now I feel calmer and more aggressive in how I approach things."
He offered his assessment of modern Serie A: "I think Serie A is more difficult now than before. In the past, the league was more defensive and tactical, but now it's becoming very exciting."
Despite his goal drought, Beto remains unfazed. "We need goals, but not just from me. People always tell me, 'I picked you in fantasy football,' but I'm used to that," he said.
On the team's progression, Beto stated: "I really like the direction we're heading; we're gradually becoming a real team."
He spoke warmly of teammate Nicolás González: "I'm really happy for him. He welcomed me very warmly and takes my advice seriously. He deserves his goals, but I don't want to fall behind either."
Maintaining his composure through the goal drought, Beto even joked about his training methods. When asked if he still uses tennis balls, he laughed and said: "I don't train with tennis balls anymore."
Looking ahead to his first Fiorentina goal, Beto said: "I just want to score. If I can score a typical 'Beto-style goal,' that would be even better."
On the club's ambitions, Beto was clear: "Everyone wants to reach a higher level. We don't yet know if we can achieve all our goals this season, but Fiorentina must be among the elite. I'll continue working hard for that."
Addressing his life in Florence, Beto added: "I haven't picked up any Florentine or Tuscan dialect yet."
He concluded by praising the supporters: "The Fiorentina fans are very passionate."
