In the UEFA Nations League League A, Matchday 4, England defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 at home. Harry Kane, who scored twice in the match, gave an interview to ITV Sport after the game.

Harry, this was another England win, but in many ways, this night was all about you - two assists and two goals were outstanding.

Yes, it was a perfect night for me personally and for the team. You know, this camp has been intense and lengthy, with several difficult matches. So to finish with a performance like this at Wembley as a team overall is excellent. For me personally, it's a night I'm incredibly proud of.

Does your opening goal reflect the current level of confidence in the England squad?

I think so. I think today everyone saw our excellent attacking coordination once again. Our running, our one-touch passing, Elliott Anderson's pass to Morgan Rogers, and then that perfectly weighted through ball. As a striker, when you receive passes like that, you're excited and always anticipating those opportunities.

Has England found a higher level of confidence and performance during this training camp?

I think so. I think it started from the first match, and although the result wasn't what we wanted, there were still many excellent moments in that game. I felt we built on that and gradually improved. The first camp after a major tournament is always challenging, and this time we had four matches, so we needed to find our rhythm quickly. We did that, which is the most pleasing thing.

What have you learned about competition for places during this camp, with Trent Alexander-Arnold returning to the squad and exciting new players like Lewis Hall coming in?

This is England - there's always competition for every position. When you come here, it's about seizing your opportunity. Whether you play 90 minutes or five minutes, you have to perform at your best. I think every player in the squad is showing that. Everyone wants to be part of the team, everyone wants to play, and that only makes us stronger.

Are you looking forward to winning your 126th cap for England next month, which would be a new record?

That would be fantastic.
