Eintracht Frankfurt Sporting Director Markus Krösche admitted that hiring Sarr as the team's head coach was a mistake. Krösche stated in an interview that the collaboration with the coach lasted more than three months and ultimately did not meet expectations.

"In the end, it was the wrong decision," Krösche said. "Ultimately, it was a decision that didn't work out and wasn't correct in hindsight."
During Sarr's tenure, Eintracht Frankfurt lost European qualification on the final day of the season in May. Krösche stated that he has learned from this mistake: "It's not about dogmatism; the key is to stick to certain principles to increase the likelihood of making the right decisions."
Speaking about the new head coach, Adi Hütter, Krösche said that both parties share the same football philosophy. He said: "It's a great pleasure to work with him. He's a very good person and has considerable experience. He can help the team with his experience and composure, and also help young players continue to develop."
