After Roma drew 0-0 away at Como with ten men, Gollini, who started in place of Svilar in that match, spoke to DAZN.

"The mindset for this match was different from usual; everyone could feel it. It was a tough game. I want to tell Svilar that I wish him a speedy recovery, and we're all waiting for him to come back. He's a great person and an excellent professional, and we have a very good relationship. We saw each other a few days ago, and he told me to enjoy the game and play freely. He's very strong, and he's proven that on many occasions. For me, today's performance is a reward; I train hard every day to get an opportunity. Sometimes things go well, sometimes not so well. In the end, life is a cycle. When a person is diligent and puts their heart into what they do, even if luck isn't always on their side, it will eventually turn around in the long run."
Were you worried after two years without playing?
"Who wouldn't have doubts after not playing in Serie A for two years? I actually played this game in my head all week. Mentally it was really tough, but when it came to the actual match, I felt good and fluid. Mentality truly makes a big difference. If a person is in good spirits and in good physical condition, things will go much smoother."
